- To prevent complaints coming to the attention of the committee, which could lead to juniors losing their membership or privileges.
- To ensure that junior members are a credit to St. Neots Golf Club and behave in a manner expected when representing the section, club or county.

Notes for parents on safety:
- St. Neots golf course is situated next to a busy road and also has various stretches of either deep or fast moving water. We are concerned that your child is as safe as is reasonably practicable whilst playing golf.
- It is not generally advisable to bring your child to the golf course to play alone. Telephone numbers of other junior members are available either in the clubhouse or the club diary.
- Please ensure that your child knows what time they are being collected, where they are being met and who is collecting them.
- Check your household insurance to make sure that you child has suitable insurance cover, particularly public liability.
- If your child has a mobile telephone, it is a good idea to keep it with them in their golf bag as a safety precaution. However, it should not be left switched on whilst on the golf course, as this is strictly against the rules of the club.
- When children are travelling to away matches, the junior organisers will try to arrange transport. However, it is stressed that the parents must accept responsibilty for ensuring their children arrive at matches on time and they should also offer transport wherever possible.
